Condensed Milk Recipes
Filipinos love condensed milk and have appreciated its magic way before a popular blogger called it “nectar of the gods”. And yes, it’s that good — SWEET, THICK, CREAMY, DELICIOUS. We use it in a lot of desserts and kakanin (Filipino traditional delicacies). And I’ve learned to incorporate it in a lot of my Western recipes as well.
Condensed milk gives this eggless key lime pie and these creamy lime bars the perfect sweetness to contrast the tartness from the limes. It also adds to the richness and creaminess of this Filipino egg pie and Filipino leche flan.
